"Electrolyze of sound: instrumental electronic"
3rd concert of the cycle "TAX FREE: Young composers"

Young composers create pieces with electronic obligato. This project is aimed to explore perception of the frontier area between acoustic and electronic sound, both not existing here separately: the new performing techniques and use of various electronic sound objects create the integral and homogenous field of perception. Listener-s mind deprived of its usual checkpoints starts to stroll along electro-acoustic labyrinths carefully designed by the composers.

Composers: Vladimir Gorlinsky, Sergey Kim, Alexey Nadzharov, Alexey Sysoyev, Sergey Khismatov, Nikolay Khrust

Performers: soloists of the nsemble of Pro Arte Foundation
Alexandra Gorskaya (percussion),
Elena Grigorieva (cello),
Yuri Dolgov (flute),
Nikolay Mazhara (piano),

Marina Poleukhina (piano)

Authors of the project:
Lidia Ader, Sergey Khismatov

"Tax free" is series of performances involving young composers and performers. They get a space where one can experiment in various fields of the modern art. Different performing resources are used in every recital of the cycle: vocal, electro acoustics, percussions, various instrumental ensembles. The main zeal of this musical mini-marathon is to let the art of the young Russian composers into the cultural space of St Petersburg of 2010s, both those who are already known to the audience and those only starting their artistic careers.

The project is supported by:
Committee of Culture (Government of St Petersburg)
St Petersburg State Museum of Theatre and Music
PRO ARTE foundation
